Books shows message "item does not meet catalog guidelines"

I returned the book to public status, but it will take a few hours for the system to reset.

I’ve run across another instance of this happening, The book was marked as invalid. However the iSBN is correct. I restored it to public but then got the "This item does not meet our catalog guidelines and can no longer be rated or reviewed." message. Should I expect that will drop off?

To be fair the ASIN that someone previously entered for the book does not seem to exist at all, but the ISBN is legitimate.
Thanks

The ASINs are entered by Amazon. I have found about 40% of the time that the ASIN is legit even when it won't show. For some reason the Amazon hubs don't talk to each other. I first noticed this with the US and UK audibles. There are 18 Amazon around the world. I try each site before writing off an ASIN. There is an odd thing that happens when I do find the ASIN on another country's Amazon page. The US one magically has it. I will still get the message about it not being available in my country, but at least it believes the item exists.
The rest of the ASINs can be divided into two groups:
Kindles where Amazon pulled support. That is one of the reasons GRs doesn't remove books. Sometimes our site is the only way people can see a book.
The other group are ASINs which were assigned to one-off sales. Those irk me. They usually have shoddy covers and erroneous information.
Sorry for the prattling. Anyway, the banner is gone now. We tell people it can take a few days because few people are upset when things get done sooner than expected. Most times it is fixed in under 15 minutes.

I have another book with this issue:

I think this is definitely an error, can you fix it please? I'd like to give a five star review to the conclusion of one of the best fantasy sagas I've ever read...
Thanks :)

I reset it. As I said before the banner will take some time to go away, but you should be able to review it now.

Yes thank you :)

I am confused about why it says this as this is my self-published book to which I own the rights and is definitely allowed to be listed on GoodReads. Can someone help me with this?
Thanks so much!

I reset your book.

Please provide the link to the book that is marked with that message so we can investigate.
Next time, start a new thread; this thread is for a specific book, and it gets confusing when a different book is added to the request.
Closing thread as it now contains multiple requests.

I saw that this paperback edition of the book (ISBN: 9780552574235) has the message "This item does not meet our catalog guidelines and can no longer be rated or reviewed."
I am confused as to why this book doesn't meet the guidelines. This is the edition of the book I own and I cross-checked the GoodReads information with my copy and it seems to be right. I would appreciate it if someone is able to shed some light on this.
Thank you!
