For the bookshelf for our recommendations, can it be assumed that if it is a series, then what ever book your are on in the series is good?
I don't want to fill my picks with a bunch of books from the same series.

hmmm, I would say if it's a series where each can be read as a standalone then they should be added separately. If it's the same couple each book then any book from that series?

Just want to say we each get 1 pass for the whole challenge but another team member will need to read an extra book. Some challenges you can't pass on.

Also I won't be heavily enforcing this as I want everyone to be comfortable with the pace, but this is what MountainKat has said:

A player will be removed if they make no comment for 3 days after a new task is assigned or 2 days after the rest of the team completes the task (whichever is later), despite attempts to make contact. This is a very interactive challenge! You will be expected to check in with your team regularly, multiple times a week if not daily. Gotta give that thought. Wouldn't want to chose a book not on KU unless it's already owned by someone. A lot of my favs are not on KU.
