A quick question as I'm preparing my list of ideas . . . if I am reading a series of 4 novels set in the same place which contains said place name in each of the titles, can I count that 4 times, or just once? Also, I'm assuming that referencing words such as 'Scottish' or 'Scot' would not count. Is that correct?

Glad to have you participating in this new challenge Kate. Got you linked up. If it's four separate novels, ok to count each one separately. The proper names in your challenge do not have to be exclusion or used only once. You are correct that Scottish or Scot wouldn't count, but Scotland would.

With February's book club read comes a question pertaining to this challenge: since the 'Broken Hearts Bakery' is not an actual bakery, but a nickname for a group of people, that would NOT count towards the challenge, correct?
Another point of clarification, people's 'titles' count, yes? For instance in Finding Lady Enderly, since Lady Enderly is her official title in the 'ton', that would count, even though both her first and last name are not stated?

Kate, I agree with both. Broken Hearts Bakery would not be a proper name for the challenge since it's not the name of the bakery. However, Lady Enderly does work since that is her title and what she'd be called by some.

Do places in titles count like On Fire Island? Comung Home to Hideaway Bay? Second Chance in Summit County?
Peoples Names like Juliet's Journey?
Abstract names like Heaven?
Books with names of books in the Bible such as Romans?
Good questions...if the title is for a named location, such as Venice Beach or Galveston Island, then that works.
People's names also work.
Rome works, but Roman wouldn't.
Abstract names is a bit more gray, but lean toward not including those.
