Can books read for this challenge also count for the male version and the authors A-Z?

I think so. Yz will have to confirm it, but I posted the male protagonist of the book I am reading in the male challenge, and I know I am not the only one.

I had such a hard time doing this last year I'm not sure I want to make it twice as hard splitting up the sexes and doing it again. I filled in characters as I went, but once you're left with difficult letters like Q, X, Y, Z, etc. it was hard to find a book with a specific character in them because you don't necessarily know main characters names before reading a book. So finding a letter you need specifically is difficult. Splitting up the sexes makes this year's challenge twice as hard then. I think I'll stick with A-Z book titles and A-Z authors and skip the character ones this year.

Definitely. You can crossed-challenge books, but you cannot crossed-categories within a challenge.
