FlibBityFLooB The authors of Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels talk about the trend of putting more than one person ending up with the heroine (pg 114). One of the examples they mention with this trend is Menage by Emma Holly.

On page 162+, the authors do an interview with Emma Holly where Wendell admits to reading certain books by Emma Holly that made her "face turn so red while reading one that a fellow commuter asked if she were feeling ill" (pg 162)

Do you see lots of books appearing where there is multiple people hooking up? Is this too spicy for you, or just plain silly? Ever read one of these books? If not, here's your chance to do so...

Jane (PS) | 23962 comments FlibBityFLooB: did you enjoy Menage? I bought this as an ebook AGES ago and haven't ever read it.

I've read quite a number of these sort of books - all ebooks. I go through phases where these books suit my reading desire *grin* but some of this is because they are short and sweet. I can knock them over quickly and get my romance fix.

Miss | 330 comments I actually read this book quite a while ago and really liked it. It is a bit unusual even for this type of erotica. The heroine is a bit older than the other two guys and she ends up with only one of them although the relationship remains open to the other guy. Loved it.

Jane (PS) | 23962 comments Thanks Miss - I am now just waiting for it to suit one of the challenge categories (or months). (I have too many other books to read for the current month to consider it at the moment!!) :)
