It was good but not great. It's nothing I can pinpoint but I was expecting more from it (maybe because I've read really good fantasy lately.)

how did you find beautiful darkness? I read the first book and enjoyed it, also got this one but haven't started yet, seeing you have just finished,what do you think of it?

Good question.

I would say use the number of pages of the book that you are using (hardback or paperback). If you are using an audiobook, then I will leave that up to your discretion. Fair enough?

I love SKP. I read a couple of her books years ago and went out and bought all I could get my hands on at the time. Then I didn't read them because of how long they are, hehe.

I've only read Time & Chance by her but I'm interested in her backlist. Like you, I've been afraid of those big books but no more, LOL!
