I went into Borders this morning, to have a final look before they close...I bought, at 70% off, Alive in the Death Zone: Mount Everest Survival, The Diamond Anchor, Love in The Age of Drought and I Married a Communist.
They close on Thursday Mish...I thought it was Friday, but the girl who served me said Thursday.

Have you read it?

*yeah I know I'm on a non book buying challenge, but it was a no brainer*"

I really liked Child 44 - it's very brutal but a good thriller and the historical context is interesting. There is a sequel too, but I haven't read it as yet.

More sleepless nights with these reads I'm guessing!

I have but I needed a physical copy to lend to people. I'm not sharing my iPad

Thanks for that Cathy - I love LHI too - we've had 2 wonderful trips there and I'd go back tomorrow. I'll look for this book!

Cathy - I own one very old copy of an Evelyn Cheesman book, and I read it so long ago I don't remember the title! But there was a bio included and you're right, one fascinating lady.
