I've just finished Flux and am amazed at the way in which the 'normal world' and can't call it imaginary, more like an alternative or cerebral reality are interweaved. Very very well written.

Oh yes, the thing about Flux - the test of a truly classic horror tale to me, is that you read it and you think, 'Could this happen?' Some horror, you just feel like a voyeur to gratuitous volence but this is fabulous. You care, you believe. It's a brilliant book.

I'm on 10 active authors so far (and 1 non active author whom I'm not counting because although a member he's not made a comment in this group). So glad you set up this challenge Lorraine, its great fun. :D

I don't know Kate, I'm just glad things are heading the right way for now :) Even if I go over the 25 authors I still have to find another 15 books to read to reach my goodreads target of 40 for 2012 !

Well done on yours, you'll have to put up a list some time when you get the chance, so I can check out what you've been reading ;) Me nosey? absolutely not !

I'm currently 64% through reading Solitary Pleasures and the non active author I've read is The Killing of Emma Gross
Oh and anyone who can count, I've read 11 so far not the 10 I thought. Ok lorraine, I've shown you mine now its your turn, who have you read (so I can grab a few ideas) :)

I think I've read two GR authors' books thus far: The Wizard of Time and The Shadowed Valley.

I'm trying to get a couple of books out in the next few weeks, and will clear my schedule for another GR author read thereafter!

You and me both DM. Definitely lower sales.

I'm going to finish my latest read and then focus on a genre I wouldn't normally read I think.

I've read one GR authors book so far and looking for something new.

I shall have to have a look at yours DM. I'm proof reading at the moment but a whole untouched week stretches before me!

Just finished Jamie Sinclair's All the fun of the fair. This is a cracker. Inter-twined lives in a small seaside town. I really enjoyed this one!
