Hello. I just joined as an author. I had one book already on the site which I added to my author profile. I tried to manually add a new title but all I seem to have done is create a separate author page. If someone can somehow add the second book/profile to my main author profile page, I would be very appreciative. Thanks.

Which book are you referring to on the second profile? Are they all yours?

I moved it to your profile. For future reference, you are Mark-2space-Jacobs. To keep your books separate from other authors with the same name, your books have an extra space between your first and last names -- invisible everywhere except when adding/editing a book, or when editing your profile.

Also, books with ASINs are Kindle editions. If your book also exists as a ebook with an ISBN, another edition should be added.

Hi there! I recently added my latest book to Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ and unintentionally created a new Author. :) I need to merge my two books into my existing Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ Author Profile. I tried copying and pasting the author name as suggested in the Librarian Manual, but it didn't work. Can you please advise?

Ok, all fixed. When adding one of your books, please keep in mind that there should be two spaces between your first and last names.

Also, please do not add the author role "author". Only other roles (illustrator, narrator, editor) should be added.

No, those two are deliberately disambiguated. If some of the books need to be moved from one profile to the other, they will need to be edited individually. Not all the books on the second profile belong to the first, certainly.

That is the GR author's official blog, linked from the web site listed on her profile. In turn, the blog page links to , which lists a bunch of the author's backlist she's reissued as ebooks, including most of the ones on the second profile.

Honeymoon House isn't on the list but according to it's copyrighted to Diane McClure Jones. So is The Boy on the Cover. I tend to think they're all associated with the same person but perhaps I've gotten confused somewhere.

Quite a few were disambiguated out by a GR employee in 2008. That usually means the author has told us that those books are not theirs.

Why are you adding the first profile as a secondary author to books if you are suggesting they be merged?
