"Courtney, at work, strikes again, with one of her too-tempting recommendations. The cover further convinced me to give this a go - plus it only leads to one more book to get the full story, plus I like moths (and crimson)." May 06, 2025 03:54PM

"I had forgotten that Atlantis had been featured, briefly, in Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea…but it’s the first book I remember reading…y’know, like when I was about 8 years old. Meanwhile, as a young reader, I also loved the version of Atlantis presented in the early Perry Rhodan novels - plus Atlan himself. Aquatic SF was the earliest temptation for me - Undersea Fleet, was another childhood read." May 06, 2025 03:51PM

It’s all the fault of these crime-books you see on every library shelf. Now that every Tom, Dick, and Harriet has turned to writing about murder...”
Harriet Rutland, Blue Murder

Graham Masterton, Charnel House
