I'm not sure what happened with this one. I thought I would love this book since it has the marriage of convenience trope and I really enjoyed Carian Cole's writing in another book I read from her. For some reason I didn't like the writing in this one and I felt like this book was too long.

Romantasy is really just YA fantasy with more violence and smut, and this makes me so upset. Because I LOVE fantasy romance. I especially love it when it is fantasy with a romance subplot. But at this point this genre is smut with nonsense worldbuilding that we read as info-dumps.
