I gotta be honest. This is the first western I've read since "How the West was Won", by Louis L'Amour, and that was many moons ago in high school. It was an okay book, but kind of dry. It also felt kind of cliche to me at the time, because it felt like every western movie my dad made me watch growing up.

I've been a big fan of baseball since I was a kid. I've read about it, played it, played video games of it, played video games that are basically stat spreadsheets of it... you name it, I've done it.
