To preface: I'm a huge fan of Jim Butcher. I've got a signed copy of Dead Beat, I buy all his books the week that they come out, etc.

It's funny how sometimes, books come with anecdotes from our own lives. This is definitely one of those for me.
I picked up this book almost 20 years ago at a bookstore on whim, as many of us on this site do. For various reasons, it languished in my to-read pile for a long time.
