Wasn't sure what to make of this book. Is there some larger point beyond the story itself? I thought it was going in a metaphysical direction at first, but then it became a drawn out story of the ~5 young people turned murderers living in fear of being caught. The storytelling is kind of excruciating but the characters are well developed, if not all repulsive in their own way.
