Interesting start of the book, the way how he describes his childhood experience of Tibetan Buddhism has striking similarities to how some Christians are raised with an image of the God of severity and punishment instead of the God of mercy and charity, an image of a God who just waits for his creation to make mistakes so that he can punish it instead of God who is love, a love that gives itself for the others.
