By FAR the most riveting last chapters of any book by this author So much in so little time and I just can’t keep up with all the diff events that happening at the same time! And with only a few pages left meaning I’ll be left again in suspense as to what will happen to all of them in the next novel

Claire has finally got her ether to perform a serious surgery on Grey’s nephew and possibly save his life. Good old Arch Bug makes a sudden appearance Rollo as well as William recognized & if he only knew who Rachel was to Ian... But this will likely not be determined till the next novel of course keeping me in suspense as usual!

Claire successfully completes Henry-Christian’s surgery so Furgus and Marsali will no longer need to worry if he stops breathing when asleep. Denny Henry is engaged to Dottie William’s cousin & Lord Grey’s niece, which is why they originally said they were to be engaged since he is a Quaker who’s fighting against the King’s Army even if only as a surgeon

Discouraged to learn that Ian doesn’t reunite with Rachel and yet Claire does which just plain ridiculous since all he had to do was go with Claire and simply be shocked to find Rachel. This is obvious another plot thickener by Diane as usual since now when the Hunters do return to the Continental Army they’ll be leaving Valley Forge and again off to yet another battle

Omg how could Gabaldon do this with less than a 100 pages left in the book?!!! Jemmy kidnapped taken thru the stones with his friend’s father, Cameron who also is Brianna’s co-worker?!! Wtf I mean I know there’s another book after this one but REALLY?!! After over 700 pages I just know I’m gonna be left with another cliff-hanger ending
