(2) Must get to writing my review. How does one distill Harry Potter in a sentence? It's never easy.

- I have a feeling medicinal chocolate may not taste so great.

- Far cry from the film, where Ron's a whimpering wreck. Though, I did get a kick out of film-Ron milking his injuries to bait care and attention from Hermione. Book-Ron would never be so bold!

(3) I heard J.K. Rowling say once that being a werewolf was akin to living with AIDS. Really makes you read Lupin's origin story differently.

(2) Penalty shots in quidditch are never adequately explained or described. Is it soccer-style, where the shot's taken from a fixed position? Or is it hockey-style, where the player moves toward the goalkeeper?
(3) Apparently, wizarding trials involve a judge, jury, and executioner.

Actually.Scabbers was also on the table, so there were thirteen before Trelawney even sat down. And at that point, it was Dumbledore who first got up to greet and welcome her!

Actually, it's unclear whether Scabbers is with them or not. The last time he's mentioned is in the boys' dormitory, and may have been put back in his cage. In any case, he did not dine with them, and so would not be counted in the prophesy.

1- Is it not allowed for girls to enter the boys dorm? I know the girls dorm has built in protections against the boys but I don’t think the boys� dorm has anything. 2- Ha! I adore McGonagall! And I recently found out we share birthdays. Her sense of humor is perfection

I could only assume that girls wouldn't be allowed in the boys dorm. It wouldn't make much sense if it were a one-way policy. Plus, to say that girls were allowed in would be a tacit encouragement of it. I figure Hermione only goes because it's Christmas and only Harry and Ron are there. She actually does it the previous Christmas too.
I agree about McGonagall. When she allows herself to, she can poke fun with the best of them :)
