Jayson’s Reviews > Mickey and Donald Christmas Parade #4 > Status Update

Jayson
is on page 35 of 65

Notes:
(1) Once again, this kicks off with the longest story. It features Mickey, Minnie and Peg Leg Pete.
- A bit of a slow burn, but genuinely heartwarming, ends with a nice moral and all of its magic makes sense.
(2) The best story of this first half is a four-pager with Donald and his nephews.
- It's the perfect length for the tale it tells, just smart and to-the-point.

Notes:
(1) Nearly all the stories in the second half are kind of stupid.
- The Beagle Boys end up in Wonderland. Past that, there's no plot except to show how wacky and upside-down Wonderland is.
- The Big Bad Wolf suddenly hates trees, and that gag's belabored for the entire story.
- Scrooge goes all "A Christmas Carol," like his namesake, but without any character growth.
