“It was because a great-looking man with no apparent mental defects found her attractive. Imagine feeling so buoyant over something so juvenile.”

“Then, almost as an afterthought, she turned and locked the bathroom door. If he thought he was going to seduce her, make her stupid enough to believe his lies by getting her into bed, he'd better think again. She stepped into the water. Besides, women didn't lose brain cells at the thought of sex. Only men did.”

Hello Allie! Thank you SO much. I love these books too and I think they're probably my best ever. I have a wide range. A mountain of vampires, witches and other paranormals, a pile of westerns, and several other suspense series, but nothing quite like Brown & de Luca. We're planning another this fall, Little Girl Blue. Thanks again for leaving such a great comment!

I'm now on to the Oklahoma Brands and I'm getting to love that part of the family too. Currently on the second book and i seem to be reading a book a day at the moment as I can't put them down lol. X :)

Hi, Mandy! I'm still not as active here as I'd like to be, but I'm working on it. Thanks so much for friending me. :)

Amber, thanks for the comment. I'm back into Wings in the Night now after a two year hiatus. There will be a new book in October. A new website in May. Rhiannon will be blogging there. she's already taken over the Wings in the Night fb page. :)

I'm just starting to figure out how GR works, so bear with me! LOL. Thanks for friending me. :)
