Rushed Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ Giveaway
Now until July 3rd you can enter for a chance to win a trade paper advanced reader copy of Rushed, my new adult contemporary college-set romance. Here's the link: /giveaway/sh...
The contest is open to residents of the US, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia.
Here's the blurb to tempt you ;-)
A girl who has everything. A guy who has everything to lose.
Some things can't be
RUSHED
Alexis
Like there has ever been any doubt which sorority my family expects me to pledge. I'm a third-generation legacy. On the first day of rush, I realize I'm in trouble. I'm not like the other girls in the house. But as long as my parents control my college funds, resisting is futile. Until Zach, the live-in houseboy, who's quite possibly the hottest guy I will ever meet, serves me a cupcake and flashes me a sympathetic look. With one enigmatic smile, he flips my heart and my world upside down. My parents will cut me off if they even suspect I'm interested in a house guy. But I can't stay away from him. And so I pledge the house for all the wrong reasons.
Zach
Living in a sorority? I get flipped a load of crap about being a live-in servant, the help. Easy access to the hottest girls on campus? Not with the unbreakable rule—get caught with one of the girls and you're fired. Immediately. Lose this job and I can't afford college. I sure as hell can't ask my parents for help. They wish I'd never been born. Considering what I did, I don't blame them. I've learned to think of the girls like sisters. Until Alexis pledges the house. Now sister is the last thing on my mind.
*** Standalone novel. No cliffhanger. ***
This is a contemporary romance with mature themes, language, and situations. Readers should be over 17!
If you enjoyed Gina Robinson's Reckless Series, you'll love Rushed. Rushed takes place at the same university during the same academic year. Just on the other side of campus, the Greek side. You'll recognize some of the campus events and a favorite Reckless character makes a cameo appearance.

Rushed Coming Soon!
Hooray! Rushed, my next new adult contemporary romance has made it past my beta readers and will head to the copyeditor next week.
I had a great time writing it. I'm not a plotter. I'm what's know in the biz as a panster. I write by the seat of my pants, letting the story unfold as I write it. In many cases, the story is as much a surprise to me as it is to the readers. And I like it that way. It makes writing it fresh for me.
I'm planning to release Rushed on July 3, 2014. Just in time for the long 4th of July weekend. It takes place at the same university during the same academic year as my Reckless books. Just across campus, on the Greek side. One of the favorite characters from my Reckless books makes a cameo appearance.
Can't wait for July!

Changing Things Up--New Covers!
Sometimes you just have to shake things up. As I get ready to release Reckless Together, the third book in my Reckless series, I've decided to change direction with the cover. I've been getting some reader and reviewer feedback that the covers for books one and two weren't as eye-catching as they could be. And some readers didn't think the guy on the covers was handsome enough to meet their expectations for Logan. Sorry cover model guy! Logan is a hard act to live up to. No offense meant.
So I went in a new direction for the cover for Reckless Together and decided to change all the covers in the process. I had a blast doing it. I hope you all like the new covers as much as I do.
I finished the first draft of Reckless Together last week. Now it has to be read by my beta readers, revised, copy edited, and then it will be ready for publication. I know a lot of you are eagerly waiting for the conclusion to Ellie and Logan's story. I meant to have it out in January, but life intervened. Hang on just a bit longer. With luck, I'm hoping to release it in late March.
In the meantime, I've posted the new covers. What do you think?
