So glad you enjoyed it! It’s probably my rarest book. The first book I ever had published. FYI—original title was The Twin of Frankie Stein.

"This was one of my favourite books as a kid in the 90's and I just came across it the other day while cleaning out some older kids books! I read it again for nostalgia's sake and I gave it to my 7 year old...I told her she should read Mommy's 30 YEAR"

“When are you going to tell me?â€ I held up the silver charm. “About this?â€
“It’s a horseshoe.
“Already figured that out—but why did you send it with Dagger?
“So you wouldn’t have to wait.
“Are you sure it didn’t have anything to do with interrupting my visit with Josh?
“Would I do that? he said with a wicked grin.
Of course he would, but I didn’t say that. Instead I asked him how he found the charm.”

“Here I was with the guy I maybe-loved, relaxing by the ocean with salty crisp breezes and blue-gray sea curving into a for-ever horizon. We even had background music to add to the romantic ambience. And except for the "can't kiss because he's my brother" thing, this was the perfect romantic moment.”

“What amazes me is that most days feel useless. I don't seem to accomplish anything-just a few pages, most of which don't seem very good. Yet, when I put all those wasted days together, I somehow end up with a book of which I'm very proud.”

“We are the people of the book. We love our books. We fill our houses with books. We treasure books we inherit from our parents, and we cherish the idea of passing those books on to our children. Indeed, how many of us started reading with a beloved book that belonged to one of our parents? We force worthy books on our friends, and we insist that they read them. We even feel a weird kinship for the people we see on buses or airplanes reading our books, the books that we claim. If anyone tries to take away our books—some oppressive government, some censor gone off the rails—we would defend them with everything that we have. We know our tribespeople when we visit their homes because every wall is lined with books. There are teetering piles of books beside the bed and on the floor; there are masses of swollen paperbacks in the bathroom. Our books are us. They are our outboard memory banks and they contain the moral, intellectual, and imaginative influences that make us the people we are today.”

“I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”

Nice to meet you here. That's great you have some of my books. I've had lots of fun writing series. My most popular is The Seer series. I'm working on a new series now for middle-graders called Curious Cat Spy Club. The first one comes out in March. I'll post the cover soon when I'm allowed to.

Thank you so much for accepting the friend request! It's so cool that you care about your fans. You are the first author here who actually accepted me, and fast at that. It mens the world too me. I actually own 12 or 13 of your books, and I love them all. Read them since I was a little girl :)Great authors make great childhood.

My first picture book, SNOW DOG SAND DOG, came out from Albert Whitman in March. I sold a midgrade mystery series to Whitman called CURIOUS CAT SPY CLUB (2015). And my 2nd picture book, CA$H KAT comes out from Arbordale in 2015.
For fans of THE SEER and DEAD GIRL, there are YA books in my future too. Two small publishers have offered contracts for a science fiction YA and also a lighter magical Cinderella-meets-dogs romance. Stay tuned!
And check for covers & updates.

So she built a SNOW DOG....
My picture book SNOW DOG, SAND DOG inspires kids (especially those dealing with allergies) to find creative ways to achieve their dreams. And it's all about season dogs: Snow Dog, Flower Dog, Sand Dog and Leaf Dog.
Paws to read a dog book to your favorite child: SNOW DOG, SAND DOG by Linda Joy Singleton, published by Albert Whitman/2014.
And stay tuned for news of my 2nd picture book sale: CA$H KAT.

So I'm giving away a copy of Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ.
SNOW DOG, SAND DOG is all about dogs!!
Published by Albert Whitman and illustrated by Jess Golden.(less) "

In celebration of my new book about a little girl with allergies who finds a creative way to get four dogs of her own, I'm offering a giveaway on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ for a copy of SNOW DOG, SAND DOG. I hope you'll enter!!!

Thank you so much for the add.
You may not remember me, but a few years ago I wrote to you about your Seer Series and you actually wrote back!! I was a huge fan and tore right through them and I'm still a fan today. :) Thank you for being such a down to earth author that I can truly admire.

This Ain't No Hearts and Flowers Love Story Pt1

DEAD GIRL WALKING is about 17 year old Amber who has such a bad sense of direction that after a near-death experience, she makes a wrong turn and lands in the wrong body -- of a popular, gorgeous, rich girl who just attempted suicide. Then Amber races against time to return to her real body before it's too late. THis is romantic, funny and a little mysterious, too.
