A must-read for anyone who has ever loved their mother.
Heather Ordover is 81% done with A Brilliant Life: Mira’s story is as loving and heartfelt as her daughter Rachelle’s beautiful retelling of it. If your first reaction to a book about the holocaust is to turn away, think again. Heather Ordover Good Grief!
I'm blown away. I'll keep checking in!

6 Years 45,000 Pages Thanks for accepting my friend request, Heather! You can check out my attempt to read 100 works of classic literature in under 6 years here:

Diane He really is super, I agree, and I'd love to meet up at some future event, especially if it also involves dancing. :) The Trailing of the Sheep here in Idaho is amazing if you're ever in our neck of the woods.

Arlen does Burns very well. We have an annual Burns night every January and Arlen recites beautifully. He keeps saying he wants to record for librivox, maybe you'll finally push him over the edge.

Heather Ordover Diane wrote: "I'm looking forward to hearing the section of Dracula my husband is reading for you. I love his accent, and frequently require him to read to me while I knit/spin/cook/paint my nails. ;) "

Heh.
I can see why you require this of him. All that, and he can cook too! You have a winnah!
He's getting rave reviews already. Someday we'll all have to be in the same place at the same time so you can teach me some of my ancestors' dances (Go Clan Macpherson!).
Maybe we'll have Arlen do some Robert Burns for us in the future?
; )

Diane Hi Heather, and thanks for the add! I love your podcast! Maybe someday I'll even be caught up. I'm looking forward to hearing the section of Dracula my husband is reading for you. I love his accent, and frequently require him to read to me while I knit/spin/cook/paint my nails. ;)
