Excerpt from "The Lotus"

Introduction

In the eastern religions, the Lotus is associated with purity and beauty, which comes to the surface as a result of cleansing the mind and detaching one’s true Self from the mind.

As a means of becoming the Lotus and the only way out of the murky water of suffering, we have created religions that may not be the shortest way to the desired destination. What is needed is an understanding that surpasses all scriptures.

What is needed are not more paths, but a way that is inclusive rather than exclusive, a path that is not a path toward our desired destination but a return to who we truly are before anything came into being. What is needed is a clear understanding of the principles that outline such a path so the seeker within all of us may return to its rightful place and the suffering in this world may come to an end. Then and only then will we know without a doubt that we are the sons and daughters of eternal life and the Lotus of purity and beauty.

All Posibilities

The realm of all possibilities... When the Self is freed from mind there are no limits to what one can experience. Miracles are things that happen against all odds such as healings, walking on water, traveling through space and time. In the realm of all possibilities one is no longer bound to the laws of this world and one becomes a witness to simply all possibilities. In order to free yourself from mind you have to separate your true self from who you believe you are. You are not your mind, nor your body nor anything your mind can come up with.

Miracles

When someone speaks of Miracles what comes to my mind are the stories of Jesus walking on water or the woman that drove without gas for three years or Therese Neumann who ate nothing but a wafer a day for 12 years or the saints that levitated. Miracles only defy science because science has simply not yet reached the level where Miracles occur. What all mystics throughout the centuries have known to be true is that a direct communication with "God" is not only possible but highly desirable. In this communication of extreme devotion one becomes One with God and lifted above the physical realm of things into a sphere where science has no law, no rules and one becomes a witness to miracles beyond ones imagination.

The Present is Known

God is alive and God is life. God is neither in the past nor in the future for the past is dead and the future unborn. Only in the present are we alive ad one with God. What faith lacks is understanding and a true knowing of God. This "knowing" however is not based on knowledge as knowledge is of this world. It is a knowing based on being one with God. Knowing...... your are known.

To the Seeker

I remember a time when I wanted nothing more then to know the Truth. This wanting was more like a longing and it went on for years. I read every book I could get my hands on until one day I let go trying to seek on the outside and turned within. My prayer was more like a begging. I wanted to know the truth more than the need to be right, more than my life more than anything I had achieved and more than anything I loved. I gave up everything and was completely empty. I thought I would die, but instead I was filled....all the way to the brim and running over. This experience was over 10 years ago, but it feels like yesterday and even though nothing really seems to have changed on the outside.... where once there was emptiness and darkness there is now a bliss within me and I know I am that bliss.

Finding your true Self

One day I was sitting outside and thinking about my relationship to God and where/what God is, when I heard...."I am closer than you think" My first reaction was "Of course your are, everyone knows that" but I heard no reply. Then I started to think....closer than you think....closer than I think....closer than thinking....thinking...thought...closer than thought....before thought! I understood that my very being is God and one with God in the absence of thought. Only "thought" separates us from God/oneness with all. It is in the silence of our mind where we find our true Self. It is in the absence of who we think we are....there.... I am.
