Sean Keefe was born and raised in Warrington, Cheshire, and now lives in Preston, where he wanders the country playing musical instruments for a living. To date, he's released three albums, a novel, been the subject of a documentary movie, is the only person to have appeared on Countdown wearing a hat in its 30 year history, and is the only man ever to navigate the 42 mile long Lancaster Canal in a pedalo, playing a concert at every venue along the way.

This was like a Mills & Boon book. Pretty much the worst Louis Lamour book I鈥檝e ever read. Ah well, at least it鈥檚 so short I didn鈥檛 have any trouble finishing it!

Left me cold. Very little characterisation, beyond perfunctory notes about what Hormblower鈥檚 thinking. We don鈥檛 see him train the inexperienced crew, we don鈥檛 get a clear view of his orders. It鈥檚 just鈥�. there. Not the best Hornblower book.
