I talked with  about their upcoming Ancient Roman cooking class at the . I met  at the Eating Words conference last month, and when she told me about all the cool shit she’s doing bringing these unusual food stories to life, I knew I wanted to write about it. I was like, “There’s a story here!� So I pestered the Inquirer and to my surprise, they agreed to let me cover it. You can read the story .
As lifelong Philly residents, my grandparents would’ve been tickled to see my name in the paper they read every day. They used to keep all my Barnard Bulletin articles in a wicker basket in their living room. So this story is dedicated to them.
