My great advice is on Lifehacker
As a middle child, I’m used to being ignored. So imagine my surprise when I noticed that the advice I gave on a recent I wrote about traveling with your significant other was by Lifehacker! Look at it!
HeÌýeven mentions me by name. *faints*
The inner middle child in me is freaking out. Someone listened to what I said. This is everything I’ve ever wanted.

I ranked Wegman’s foods for Refinery29
Wegman’s is one of my favorite places (not to brag, but I’m on nod-and-say-hello terms with two employees at my local outpost), so I was stoked to write this .
For those unfamiliar with the store and don’t understand why Wegman’s kicks so much ass, I tried to demonstrate the range of products you can get there. Frozen foods, fresh foods, shelf-stable foods; they have a wonderful range. I usually hopscotch through the store tossing my favorite things into my cart so it was fun to share my shopping list with you all. Woohoo!

Here’s My First Piece for The Inquirer
I talked with Ìýabout their upcoming Ancient Roman cooking class at the . I metÌýÌýat the Eating Words conference last month, and when she told me about all the cool shit she’s doing bringing these unusual food stories to life, I knew I wanted to write about it. I was like, “There’s a story here!â€ So I pestered the Inquirer and to my surprise, they agreed to let me cover it. You can read the story .
As lifelong Philly residents, my grandparents would’ve been tickled to see my name in the paper they read every day. They used to keep all my Barnard Bulletin articles in a wicker basket in their living room. So this story is dedicated to them.

An ode to Wally, my mom’s old-ass hand mixer
You couldn’t get more than three dollars for Wally at a yard sale. His yellowed cord is twisted beyond recognition. It’s untamable. When you try to wind the cord around the body of the mixer for storage, it always unravels and flops around, like a toddler having a tantrum.
I talked about my Ìýand what it meant to me as a kid, and what it means to me as an aunt. Give it a read when you have a spare minute.
