This is a book that everyone reads in high school. I'm pretty sure I only read the Cliff's notes then, but even if I had read it I'm not sure I would have fully appreciated its value.
I really enjoyed this book and can see why it's a classic. I almost wanted to go back and re-read it all over again. I did read part of the first chapter again because it's starts with Scout recalling how Jem broke his arm, and that's how the book ends.
So far, I think this tops my all-time favorite book list. ...more
