Ragnar (love this name), I was intrigued by the concept of a place being isolated in the in winter prior to the building of a tunnel. Being from Louisiana, I have a hard time imagining the tunnel and how it specifically saves the town from isolation. I know this is likely not your typical question, but I am curious. Is it that the roads become impassable and the tunnel never does?

Yes, before the tunnel the only way was to drive over the mountain, which was almost impossible all winter long. The roads leading to the tunnel can also become impassable, but usually only a few times each winter.

I loved Snowblind and wanted to read the books in order. It looks the order that they were translated and published in English is not the chronological order of the ongoing story lines. As best as I can figure the order is Snjóblinda (Snowblind) - 2010 Myrknætti (Blackout) - 2011 Rof (Rupture) - 2012 Andköf (Whiteout) - 2013 Náttblinda (Nightblind) - 2014 Is Whiteout available in English yet? UK or USA?
