Cassandra | 5832 comments SECOND QUARTER CHALLENGE: CLEAR THE SHELVES
Duration: April 1 - June 30, 2016

As we move into the second quarter of the year, it's time to clear our shelves! Many of us (myself included) have shelves full of books that we haven't read. In my case, it's my goal to read as many books from my "owned-but-unread" shelf as possible. Others don't buy books, but have to-read lists that are getting out of control.

Either way, pick a goal and try to clear that many books off your shelves!

Feel free to make this your own - you can add extra requirements, like using a random number generator to select books like our randomizer challenge. You could limit the challenge to books you actually own, or tackle the books that have been on your to-read list the longest.

Bobbi suggested that we bring this challenge back, and also volunteered to lead it. Thank you for leading, Bobbi!

Rachael (allons-y-bookworm) | 4565 comments This is such a perfect challenge for me. I keep buying books (especially on my Kindle) and not reading them straightaway. So this quarter, I won't buy any more books (well try not to buy anyway) and will read books that I already own.

16 April Edit: As I am quite a bit ahead of schedule and have a massive pile of unread books, my goal for this challenge has changed from 12 to 15.

If I made a mistake with your total or you've changed your mind, do let me know. I'm happy to change it. As always, I hope everyone has fun! That's the important part!
