Wow, there's a lot of action in this book. Almost non-stop. It was kind of tiring, if you know what I mean. There wasn't much time to take a breath before the next situation started. It was nice getting to know 8 in this book. What a character! And I like how all the characters are not perfect. They each have flaws and issues that they are struggling with.
I'm giving this book 3 stars, because the authors should know that pacing is important.

The story was good, great characters but all the hype that came with this book was not all that. This book is well written and the plot was interesting but the building up when you discover the thruth was not all that shocking.

I've been on book funk and this was good quick read. This was a bit of cheesy goodness I've been missing. I'm definitely going to give the rest of the series a try.
I'm glad you enjoyed your book, TayaJay. I hope you pull out of your book funk soon. I get so frustrated with myself when I fall into one of those.

Review - I have really enjoyed this series. Way more than I expected to. I figured it would just be another YA paranormal romance, but I'm loving the humor and the connection to the characters. There's been so much emotion. I can't give away too many details because if I knew what I know now upon starting the series, it would be completely ruined. Looking super forward to finishing up the last book in the series. Although, it seems like there's still so many things to wrap up. I can't believe everything's going to get accomplished in only one more (pretty short) book.

I think I was joining so many challenges and I just got burnt out.

It took me awhile to figure out how many and which kinds of challenges I could participate in and not get burned out.

Review: Back to Ty and Zane world! And they even made appearances! *claps gleefully*
This was a fun little mystery. I love Nick but his relationship with Kelly doesn't really hook me. Instead, I got totally immersed in the action. Roux knows how to paint a picture and it feels so cinematic while reading.
The premise involved a treasure hunt and it had that Dan Brown thriller kind of feel, but it didn't tie up with much a bang. More like a soft thud. I wanted to watch them unearth piles of jewels or secret artifacts! But no Indiana Jones moments here. Missed opportunity!

Do you want to do it? I'll be doing it around 6:30 and if you want to do it earlier go ahead.

I love historical novels, especially the early 1800's stories. If there's some mystery or suspense thrown in, that's even better.
In this book, the main character, a recent widow, leaves London with her three nephews to spend some time in Scotland. On the way to an ancestral home, Julia and the oldest nephew decide to stay at an inn instead of going on to the family estate. The day after arriving at the inn, she and the boys go for a walk on the beach and discover a woman's body. And the mystery and suspense begin.
A wonderful story, mostly believable. I'm enjoying the developing relationship of the two main characters. I like it when an author will take 3 or 4 books to build a caring and trusting friendship that grows into love. A solid 4 stars.

Review - Wow! This series is just SO action packed. While I still have liked the first book the best so far in the series, each book has been so much fun to read. There's humor. There's romance. There's even some points that I may or may not have shed a few tears. I'm loving the teamwork and how the group is learning their legacies and how to use them to work together. I'm already part way through Book 4 in the series for SSS.

Review: This was a book that was not allowed in my high school and always wanted to read. It was a quick read but was enjoyable. The characters all had their views of how to attained the American dreams and they become shallow, the cheat on their spouses and at the end they don
