Darth Vader

Victoria, you just have to finish the book and post to the thread within a month of the date the book starts, so you would have to finish by June 12.
Heather and Lulu, I'm updating the spreadsheets now. The spreadsheet doesn't pull Kindle edition page numbers for some reason, and audiobooks often don't have page numbers on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ so I have to go in and enter all of that manually. All of that requires an actual computer, I can't do it on my phone, so sometimes it takes me a few days to actually sit down at my computer and work on the spreadsheet. It's tedious and a little time consuming if there are a lot of books without page numbers, especially if life has gotten in the way and I don't get a chance to check daily!

Erin, it's no big deal if you'd rather shelve kindle books. I'm super OCD about my shelves so I have to shelve the actual books I read. It just may take me a couple days to get the points up.
Mary, if you want to help update the spreadsheet, please feel free, but don't feel like you have to. I'm in front of a computer all day also, but my work email is gmail and if I log in to update the spreadsheet, it will link my personal and work emails and I don't want that to happen. I don't mind at all updating the spreadsheet. I'm just used to not working right now because I used to work for the school system, so my life is extra busy with a full time job plus all the normal summer things, plus my baby sister graduating this last weekend!

Oh my gosh I don't know how you read that many books at a time! I usually have an audiobook and regular book going and that's more than enough for me!

It's not ONLY 3 books, I think that's about how many I've read so far for this challenge! Great job reading!

"
It keeps it interesting but I think thats why I go in cycles of completing things or not completing them with these challenges. Thankfully finished two tonight

I've got my votes in!!!
For the anything goes category, I read Kristin Hannah's Firefly Lane a few years ago - It was a great book but definitely brought on some ugly crying!!! (that's actually not the bookI voted for this time though!)

I nominated (and voted for)

Preppy's books are fun because of his humor.

I'm really liking it. There is always something at the end that completely shocks me. They are written so well. I'm looking forward to Preppy's books. I wasn't sure what to expect with them but after Soulless I'm pretty excited. They aren't at my library though :( plus my tbr pile is getting a little ridiculous so I've got to read some other things but I will be reading his books
I saw that you read Two-Way Street, I remember really liking that one.
I voted for the July BOM but I can't remember how I voted for two of them now. I will say I thought about voting for Jurassic Park but went with Storm Front because I heard good things during UNO but didn't get around to it

The challenge is still so basic and simplified this year, but I will still be sure to tag any books I finish this week for it. Otherwise I need to keep reminding myself it's here at all - thank God for notification settings letting me know about the thread being updated!
What is everyone currently reading?

Sula
These Vicious Masks
I finished two books Friday but, as seems normal for me anymore, wasn't able to read hardly at all through the weekend.

(well really listening to:)

I saw a preview for the new movie adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express. I might reread that one before the movie comes out. Looks really good.

Murder on the Orient Express is a very good book
I watched an older version of the movie, which wasn't bad, but not perfect. I will see the new one too, looks good.
I've been in the mood to read more Agatha Christie lately actually.

Sorry to hear that it wasn't that impressive. Mysteries can be hit or miss.

A Breath of Snow and Ashes...I started in 2014 and finished this January. Almost 1000 pages...it obviously took me forever...awesome book though. One of these days I'm going to read the next in the series...An Echo in the Bone. Not sure I'll attempt during this challenge unless it's super beneficial for the team though.

Hope you enjoy it!

...so far it's pretty good.

I hope after this book I can stop the series for a bit, because I really want to read:

It is released tomorrow. Though my plan is to read it in the airplane on Thursday. I'm sure that book will keep me occupied during the flight. Terry Brooks is one of my favourite authors.

I am going to start Bite Club and The Hidden Goddess. While also rereading Dark Lover.

The Kate Daniels are addicting, fast reads

6 1/2 more school days and then it's summer break.... woo hooo!!!! Today during my downtime in the computer lab, I planned out my next 15 books...... filling challenge spaces with what I have on my kindle and ebooks I can get from the library!!

I'm not enjoying the off and on again reading either...it's really thrown me off. I think we can just read right...we don't have to answer questions if we just want to comment...I might just get this done and call it good. Not sure anyone actually reads all these responses from everyone??
