I listened to the audio as well, but just didn't like the story.

Alexa Carver (alexacarver) | 195 comments Halli, thank you for letting me know, I added your BOM points to our spreadsheet.

Victoria, you just have to finish the book and post to the thread within a month of the date the book starts, so you would have to finish by June 12.

Heather and Lulu, I'm updating the spreadsheets now. The spreadsheet doesn't pull Kindle edition page numbers for some reason, and audiobooks often don't have page numbers on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ so I have to go in and enter all of that manually. All of that requires an actual computer, I can't do it on my phone, so sometimes it takes me a few days to actually sit down at my computer and work on the spreadsheet. It's tedious and a little time consuming if there are a lot of books without page numbers, especially if life has gotten in the way and I don't get a chance to check daily!

Lulu (lulufritz) | 285 comments No worries Alexa and thanks for all that you do :)

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments I have been reading a lot of different books, hope to start actually finishing some soon. In the past two days I've read some of five books but its been fun. Should be done with three of them by Friday.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments Oops, looks like I forgot to add the book I finished two days ago to my shelf, fixed that now.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments Alexa, if I read a kindle edition I'll try to find a paperback edition to shelve if there is one available to make it easier.

message 407: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments Alexa I could help with updating the spreadsheet. Not sure what to do but I work on a computer all day everyday and can pop in and update page numbers. Is it just a matter of looking up the most popular edition and inputting the number or there more to that.

☘K²¹³Ù³ó²â¶Ù☘ | 124 comments it's only three books, but I finally added my most recently completed books! sorry for the delay! =)

message 409: by Alexa (new)

Alexa Carver (alexacarver) | 195 comments You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the support!

Erin, it's no big deal if you'd rather shelve kindle books. I'm super OCD about my shelves so I have to shelve the actual books I read. It just may take me a couple days to get the points up.

Mary, if you want to help update the spreadsheet, please feel free, but don't feel like you have to. I'm in front of a computer all day also, but my work email is gmail and if I log in to update the spreadsheet, it will link my personal and work emails and I don't want that to happen. I don't mind at all updating the spreadsheet. I'm just used to not working right now because I used to work for the school system, so my life is extra busy with a full time job plus all the normal summer things, plus my baby sister graduating this last weekend!

Oh my gosh I don't know how you read that many books at a time! I usually have an audiobook and regular book going and that's more than enough for me!

It's not ONLY 3 books, I think that's about how many I've read so far for this challenge! Great job reading!

Alexa Carver (alexacarver) | 195 comments By the way, you should have a message in your inbox for voting for July's BOMs, and there are a few good ones! Don't forget to cast your vote!

It keeps it interesting but I think thats why I go in cycles of completing things or not completing them with these challenges. Thankfully finished two tonight

Lisette (illusie) | 2 comments Erin, I usually only read 1 book at the time. I am impressed you read so many at once.

I've got my votes in!!!

For the anything goes category, I read Kristin Hannah's Firefly Lane a few years ago - It was a great book but definitely brought on some ugly crying!!! (that's actually not the bookI voted for this time though!)

I nominated (and voted for) The Thousandth Floor (The Thousandth Floor, #1) by Katharine McGee and 99 Days by Katie Cotugno so Im hoping one of those will be the one. I will definately participate in BOM then!

message 417: by Heather (new)

Heather | 529 comments @Lulu, I see you are reading King (King, #1) by T.M. Frazier series! Its one of my favorite series ever! I love King, Bear & Preppy equally. How are you liking them so far?
Preppy's books are fun because of his humor.

message 418: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I just read The Woman in Cabin 10. I don't recommend it personally.

message 419: by Tammie (new)

I've just read Come Sundown by Nora Roberts
Pretty typical Nora...but I liked it...

I'm really liking it. There is always something at the end that completely shocks me. They are written so well. I'm looking forward to Preppy's books. I wasn't sure what to expect with them but after Soulless I'm pretty excited. They aren't at my library though :( plus my tbr pile is getting a little ridiculous so I've got to read some other things but I will be reading his books

I saw that you read Two-Way Street, I remember really liking that one.

I voted for the July BOM but I can't remember how I voted for two of them now. I will say I thought about voting for Jurassic Park but went with Storm Front because I heard good things during UNO but didn't get around to it

message 421: by Alexa (new)

Alexa Carver (alexacarver) | 195 comments The spreadsheet is updated, and we went from 9th to 5th place with all the page overrides! That is amazing!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments Wow, wonderful :)

message 425: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments Woohoo! I'm about to mark a book finished. I doubt it will bump us up but more points anyway.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments WOO-HOO!!!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments Happy New Monday all :)

The challenge is still so basic and simplified this year, but I will still be sure to tag any books I finish this week for it. Otherwise I need to keep reminding myself it's here at all - thank God for notification settings letting me know about the thread being updated!

What is everyone currently reading?

message 428: by Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (last edited Jun 12, 2017 07:21AM) (new)

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments I am in the middle of:

Sula
These Vicious Masks

I finished two books Friday but, as seems normal for me anymore, wasn't able to read hardly at all through the weekend.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments I have been reading the second Game of Thrones book forever (on the backburner). It won't count for the Team challenge though since I started it before TT began. It's one of those I read on the side. Anyone else have some books like that?

message 430: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I am reading:
(well really listening to:)
Night Broken (Mercy Thompson, #8) by Patricia Briggs

I saw a preview for the new movie adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express. I might reread that one before the movie comes out. Looks really good.

message 431: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I finished a print book this weekend, Studio sex. It's Swedish murder mystery. I wasn't all that impressed. I might not continue the series. Especially since there's a bit of confusion between publication dates and chronological setting.

message 432: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments Oh and another exciting school read for my last class:

The Hamster Revolution How to Manage Your Email Before It Manages You by Mike Song

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments Mary: Harry Dresden's Love Slave wrote: "I am reading:

Murder on the Orient Express is a very good book

I watched an older version of the movie, which wasn't bad, but not perfect. I will see the new one too, looks good.

I've been in the mood to read more Agatha Christie lately actually.

Sorry to hear that it wasn't that impressive. Mysteries can be hit or miss.

A Breath of Snow and Ashes...I started in 2014 and finished this January. Almost 1000 pages...it obviously took me forever...awesome book though. One of these days I'm going to read the next in the series...An Echo in the Bone. Not sure I'll attempt during this challenge unless it's super beneficial for the team though.

Tammie | 4177 comments I'm starting my 1st BOM today...The Hate U Give...I guess we read a bit each day? Will see how this goes...its a YA...not my usual genre...but 60 pages a day won't kill me. I hope it's good!

Lisette (illusie) | 2 comments I'm currently reading the Kate Daniels serie by Ilona Andrews. I really enjoy it. I'm now reading book 5
Magic Slays (Kate Daniels, #5) by Ilona Andrews

I hope after this book I can stop the series for a bit, because I really want to read:
The Black Elfstone (The Fall of Shannara, #1) by Terry Brooks
It is released tomorrow. Though my plan is to read it in the airplane on Thursday. I'm sure that book will keep me occupied during the flight. Terry Brooks is one of my favourite authors.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments Oh, Kate Daniels is addictive stuff definitely. Love the writing team of Ilona Andrews

message 441: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I love Ilona Andrews!

message 442: by Lulu (new)

Lulu (lulufritz) | 285 comments I started the Kate Daniels series a few weeks ago and I am really liking it too.
I am going to start Bite Club and The Hidden Goddess. While also rereading Dark Lover.

message 443: by Lisette (new)

Lisette (illusie) | 2 comments I was unsure about the first book of the series, but the rest is great.

☘K²¹³Ù³ó²â¶Ù☘ | 124 comments love Kate Daniels also! and I so need to reread the Black Dagger Brotherhood series! =)

message 445: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I loved the earlier BDB books but lost interest towards the end. The slang and high end product name dropping got old for me.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments Despite their popularity I didn't like the BDB series. A lot of paranormal romance isn't my thing, although Urban Fantasy is my favorite.

The Kate Daniels are addicting, fast reads

message 447: by Lesley (new)

Lesley (laparks) | 729 comments I'm doing ok with The Hate U Give BOM so I'll be happy to be able to claim those points in a few more days, but when I only have to read 3 or 4 chapters a day and then discuss it, and read another 3 or 4 the next day, and then take a day off, then back into it.... I'm reminded why I just usually read what I like and don't take part in BOM's.

6 1/2 more school days and then it's summer break.... woo hooo!!!! Today during my downtime in the computer lab, I planned out my next 15 books...... filling challenge spaces with what I have on my kindle and ebooks I can get from the library!!

I'm not enjoying the off and on again reading either...it's really thrown me off. I think we can just read right...we don't have to answer questions if we just want to comment...I might just get this done and call it good. Not sure anyone actually reads all these responses from everyone??

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6263 comments I doubt it. I didn't much when I was answering last team tower. You don't have to read at the same pace but what I did when writing or answering questions was to go back to that section and refresh my memory

message 450: by Victoria (new)

Victoria | 1132 comments I also love Kate Daniels!!

I'm about to read Armed & Dangerous (Cut & Run, #5) by Abigail Roux , book five in Abigail Roux's Cut & Run series. I didn't think I'd be able to read through an MM Romance series, but Ty and Zane have won me over =)
