Anna (gqannanguyen) | 2 comments What a fun way to control my buying/borrowing habit, and finally get to books that have been collecting dust on my shelves for years. I will be cheating a little, since I am still a student and will have to buy or borrow history books for my seminars, but for my "fun" reading I will try to stick to what I have to cull my tbr collection.

I only have one ebook left in my Kindle stash so I'll get that read, otherwise my tbr pile is so big I'll pick and chose as I go rather than setting out a list in advance.

Emma Shepherd I'm in this one! I have 200+ unread books to read and have a voucher for a bookshop that expires in Dec 18 - and have pledged to not spend before then unless I have read all my books!

Not sure how I'll go - but let's aim high!!

Oh, and this doesn't include Kindle for this year - someone may have done a big lot of downloading the free books...

message 132: by Geree (new)

Geree | 10 comments I finished my 1st book:

Here Comes Trouble by Michael Moore

I enjoyed the book. It was Moore's memoirs, including stories of relatives that were told to him. I am not particularly a fan of his, but appreciate him more after reading this. Most of the stories were funny and well written. However, a couple were a bit long and seemed to drag on.

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just cleared my first ebook - The Eight by Katherine Neville. I love books that make me think and books that teach me something. It's even better when it's entertaining. This book accomplished all three! My only critique is that there were portions that were confusing and could have been edited a touch better. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars
