Review: This started kind of slow for me. I really enjoyed it however it didn’t really pick up until the middle. I know a lot of people say this series is better than The Mortal Instruments but that remains to be seen for me. Maybe once I finish both series I can give an accurate comparison.
I do love being in this world though. I’m so ready to pick up the rest and just continue on. I liked being introduced to the new characters (especially Jem and Henry) and seeing how things used to be before Clary and Jace. Especially reading these in publications order definitely helps keep things in order. I think once my current book is finished I will jump back into this world. I just have to.

I may change out my free space if it doesn't pick up soon, just seems a to be drawn out.
Almost done book for favorites shelf.

Just let me know if you do change it and I’ll update it.
I know she is very hit or miss with people but I really enjoy her series.

Oh my Gosh!.....Love this book. A new author to me. I love her writing. Reminiscent of Ilona Andrews or Anne Bishop works. The story is about Vinna who was a teenage girl living on the streets who became a cage fighter. When she was 16 something happened to her physically where markings appeared on her body. They were runes and if she touched different things would happen like a weapon would appear, or her hearing would increase. She always wondered who her family were and what happened to them. She was in a fight with some Lamia (vampires) in an alley and was rescued by a group of men who whisked her off to a compound called Solace. This was a colony of casters and shifters. While here she finds out more about her heritage.
The writing is awesome, a great heroine. The last couple of chapters had me shedding tears. Check this series out, Book 4 releases in November.

Review: I got 100 pages in before I realized I wasn’t retaining anything I was reading. Once I started annotating it, I started to enjoy it more because I could finally grasp what was going on.
I wish I had a friend like Zuzanna. She has to be my favorite. I also loved Karou of course. I think I like Akiva but I’m not 100% sure about him.
The way the settings were described helped me visualize exactly where they were and what was taking place. The author’s writing takes some getting used to but I enjoyed it. This is yet again another series I’m happy to continue with.

Review: Awesome read
Warning if you are triggered easily by anything with the word rape I would not read this book! The main character is almost raped after a party walking out to her car she is saved by a guy name Lucas who has a very dark past! The story from this point is one of recovery and one of banding together and support! It was a story of her gaining oneself! I highly recommend this book I will be reading more by this author!

Review: Love a great romance!
Holy shit the angst in this book is phenomenal! It will keep you on your toes it makes you feel like a hurricane and a tornado collided together! There’s other knows how to write between the descriptive world building and the amazing people building you cannot get any better! There are sex, There is guns and shooting, and there are an abundance of hot steamy men lots of lots of them! Like holy shit a lot of them! Like then yourself every two seconds a lot of them! I am so excited to read more about this author and will be doing so very shortly.

Review: This was an interesting read perfect for Halloween (not scary, just the references and time of year). Jack had been the first victim of the serial killer The Heart Taker. A year later he is brought back to life - he's a zombie who ends up taking a job as a stripper, his arms falls off sometimes. He gets back with his old girlfriend and together they try to solve his murder and find the serial killer. There are vampires, spirt talkers, ghosts. It was a good read, entertaining funny bits. I would read a second one if it ever got published.

Review:
You cant go wrong with a Psy-Changeling novel. This time we get to have Max and Sophia's story. Max is a human and a NYC Enforcement cop, Sophia is a Justice-Psy. This story is so very sweet and touching. Both have been abandoned emotionally by their parents. Max had a younger brother River who his mother doted on because he was so like her. Max didn't know his father and also what happened to his brother River - well in this story he will find out. Sophia tells her back story and it is so touching how loving and protective Max is of her. It's fun reading about the different branches of Psy, but I'm ready to get back into snow dancer or dark river territory. I just love the shifters! This one could be read as a stand alone.

Review: So good 😊
So very different than what I thought it was going to be! Two different species come together for peace! But is there a piece? There is unity but also a divide! I highly recommend reading this book if you like books that will keep you on your toes and The unexpected! Excited to read book two!

Review: This one was a let down for me. Not much really happened until like the last few chapters but by then it was too late. Everyone was just so irritating to me (except Magnus because I love him). It just really kept talking about previous books and events and mostly set up the next book in my opinion. My least favorite of the series so far, taking the place of City of Ashes.

Review - Valiant is one of the New Species who looks more animal than human. He lives in a part of the Reservation where he can run and hunt and be left alone from the humans. Tammy is part of the catering crew and goes to the wrong house - Valiants. He takes her hostage and immediately claims her as his. She is returned and then later is taken hostage by an Anti New Species group and is roughed up but Valiant and others track her and rescue her. She once again is tricked and taken hostage by a doctor to try to have her breed with 971 - a caged New Species.
This is a very touching story and I love Valiant and how Tammy keeps him in line.

Review
It is so nice to return to a well done series. I love the charaters and the idea of a coyote shifter in a werewolf pack. Tnere was a great fight scene in tne dogo where Adam was challenged for his Alpha status. Got to know more about Samson history.

Review: Better than I thought it would be!
This book was better than I thought it would be! I tend to not like books that are extremely popular maybe because of how hyped they are they always fall short for me, but this book definitely lived up to the hype! I was hooked from the very beginning with the unknowing and the knowing! By the end of the world had whipped and cutting through any knowledge I thought I had ! I’m excited to read the second book in the series and see where it takes me.
