Hi I found Room a really easy and uplifting story. Like you I was concerned it would be tense if not graphic but it was very good.

I found Room to be a very well written story....I read A Stolen Life and it's a true story about a young girl who was kidnapped and locked in a shed in the back yard...I would recomend reading Room before that one though.
