What's it about? I love huge books!

It is a story of a family of witches by Ann Rice back from the 1600's to the present time.

I started this morning Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World by Vicky Myron. It looks like an intresting read.

town. You can skip about the first 80 pages which are boring and might turn you off the book.
I just started first cut by Dianne Emley. I little slow to begin, but its thefirst in a series. Gotta give her some slack.

Good imitation of fairy tales, an interesting look into Dumbledore's character, a good look into some of the attitudes that underlie wizarding culture. I am surprised by how well the fairy tales of this book stand on their own, not just as small bits in the massive Harry Potter universe. I loved reading Dumbledore's part after each story though. How I MISS the Harry Potter series though!! It was pretty bitter sweet. But put something that has to do with Harry Potter in front of me and I will gobble it down with a smile.

I have been wanting to read that! It sounds so interesting! I've heard stories and think I've seen a movie about her on Lifetime. How far into it are you?

I am more then half way. It is incredible how the mind will find ways to protect itself.
Though I am not a huge fan of psychoanalyzing I see where it was a benefit for Sybil.

I'll probably finish Into the Darklands and Melancholy Whores tomorrow, but I've been working on Kangaroo Dreaming for a couple of months now.

Just started The Ten Year Nap and sure am enjoying it. I remember having a good career going and then finding myself unable to stay away from my daugther too. It becomes otherworldly but really who you are basically. I can really empathize with the characters and it is well written. This is my first book by Wolitzer great writer...

I just finished When You Are Engulfed in Flames which was hilarious. And now reading Galapagos by Vonnegut.

I just started Coraline a graphic novel (my first time reading a graphic novel) so good so far.

1. Kafka on the Shore - Haruki Murakami
2. The Shadow of the Wind - Carlos Ruiz Zafo'n
I am at the beging of bouth books.

It was really good; I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like it, but I ended up not being able to put it down.
Is that the Coraline by Neil Gaiman? Cause I've wanted to read it, but wasn't sure if it'd be good or not.

Ya it is but it's a graphic novel adaptation. I saw the animated movie recently and loved the story line so I was curious how the book was.
