I'm a wierdo when it comes to lists!! :) I find the more organized I am the more challenges I can participate in and complete as well as being able to read more books. Plus I'm really really trying to stick to books I own (which funny enough the books I picked are library books!).
You said it all. I'm trying to put more of an effort into finishing each challenge so I bought a notebook to write my lists and plan. I'm also trying to read the book I own.

I went an organized my Kindle with collections and end dates to make sure I got it done. So Sort of organized and such.
"...you can trade out one monthly challenge for one you create..."Does this mean we can create only one monthly challenge out of the twelve?
Nope. As many as you want. I just wanted to give you some ideas. This is a very versatile challenge. You take it on and you own your particular chunk to do with as you please.
I'm in, but I'll have to post as I go. I don't plan ahead. LOL

Rachel, I had serious doubts about this one because of the reviews being either great or real bad. I actually liked the book.
I found the POV of Jack a really good idea for this book as it smooths things that would be ugly to read. Besides,I liked to read how Jack saw things, maybe that is because I have a 2year old daugther or maybe child brain always fascinates me. Of course there are a lot of missing parts like he doesn't really understands how things affect him or his Ma and also he doesn't get what the real fuss about sometimes but then we never know how a child sees things really.
I can't say it's a real page turner but at parts it was. It is a little though in the begining as everyday is just a repeat and there was this feeling of forced suspense even though the story line is obvious, not telling how and why and when. (of course, that was a result of Jack POV).
In the end,I am glad, I read it. Hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think.
