Cradle ARC available

The past couple of years had been hectic for all of us. My dream was to have this book, Cradle, a stand alone Thriller novel in that year. It was written by then.
Then reality decided to copy its plot.

Cradle is a novel about a pandemic breaking out as the world falling apart.
Set in Greece, it deals with issues we are all faced with, populism, the immigration crisis, anti-science, lack of political leadership.

But 2020 was not the year for that book to come out. Neither was 2021.

Now it is 2022 and it was high time the book came out.

I believe I did the best I could. But I would love to hear your opinions.

The book is on preorder on Amazon.

Cradle

So, I am offering an Advanced Review Copy for any follower who wants to read the book first and offer some feedback.

If you like:

Dark narratives based on research and realism.
Strong female characters.
A strong sense of mystery.
A non-linear narrative
you may want to give Cradle a chance.

I'd love to hear your honest opinions.

You can request an ARC

The Plague of Varazam

Scribed by Evagus the Anchorite, to be delivered to his Prudence, the Protospathos Carpus Asinas. On the ninth month of the twenty-fifth year of the reign of our Emperor and three months before the Holy Night of our Faith

I. May God preserve you, my brother Carpus. I must scribe with haste and agony, and the last of my strength this epistle, forasmuch I fear it will be the final one that I manage to deliver to you.

II. I pray that my messenger escapes the strangling siege of the heathen dogs...

Anaya: The Mouth that will Unleash Hell

Deep in the holy streets of the city of Varanasi, India, upon the sacred land where one of the five heads of Brahma rests unseen, sleeps the prostitute Anaya, the one who was born to a different name in the poorest of Nepalese villages, her true name remembered only by her mother and known only to her friend Shefali, forgotten even by her malik, the brothel boss she has served as master for nine and more years.

She is the last of the seven daughters of Baburam, a goatherder from the...

Of Drakons, Old & New Gods and Love

This short-story appears as an interlude in Drakon Book III: Firstblade (published June 13, 2017).

CHAPTER LXVII. The Stars Will Bring Him Back

by C.A. Caskabel

Zeria’s fairy tale. As she whispered it to Aneria. As I heard it.

“You will never see the stars again, my love, said the exiled prince.

Dalma remained still, like a pale statue of a long-forgotten goddess, not even looking at him. She was standing outside the damp cave that had become their refuge whenever she had no sleep. Moons had...

Seven Reasons Not To Read My Books

The Drakon books are out, and they are climbing the ranks at Amazon. Book I is at #7308 (#6863 May 5th) at Kindle Paid Store, one minute ago, but that is ahead of so many masterpieces that I cannot complain, given that I just started marketing one month ago and it is self-pub.
You can find the books here:

Ok, this is reverse marketing 101 but is also very useful advice. It can save you time and money. I am going to give you seven reasons (alwa...

It is Time, Jak-Ur (Drakon Apocrypha #C7)

Apocrypha of the First, Chapter VII

The truth is I never loved you. You came uninvited, you ravaged my body and sucked from my youth. You didn’t bring anything good with you, and I could never even stand your face. Your piggy eyes narrow and dark, looking even darker when you try to smile. A barbarian dog of the steppe, that’s all you are, you never belonged here. You’ve been here what, close to seven years now and I say that is enough. You never called me “mother. This is not a word the tr...

Drakon Book I: Kirkus Review

In this debut novel—the start of a four-part fantasy series—a young boy and his peers endure the Tribe’s harrowing trials to decide who will become fighters.

Da-Ren is an orphan who was born in Sirol, the big camp of the Tribe. He’s one of the children gathered by the Guides, in a tradition carried out every winter for trials known as the Sieve. This determines the kids destinies, whether they become warriors (an Archer or Blade) or “the help (a fisherman...
