Even when I'm out and about, I get reminders that I should be writing. Heart-Love-Romance...get it?
These days are an exciting time for me right now. The final book in the Slag MC series will release soon. I'll give you all the details in a couple of weeks. And, because my writing schedule is about 18 months ahead of my release schedule, there's a lot, and I mean A LOT, of talk behind the scenes about what comes after Slag. It's contagious, so when it's time...I will share all.
I've been getting a lot of messages asking me about if I was going to start a group (I had posted about that a couple weeks ago on Facebook). Honestly, I don't want a group. I say that in the nicest way, because it is a time consuming thing to do and I absolutely love having everything out in the open on my Facebook Author Page. But, I do need to figure out what I'm going to do about gaining reviews. Some of you have been around for a few years and seen the struggle with blogger and reader reviews getting removed from my books. Needless to say, I've lost most of the "team" of bloggers I've used in the past because they're banned from reviewing my books on Amazon. But, I need reviews, and for me, they don't come organically from readers anymore. This is hard, because it's like starting over after 12 years in that department, and boy things have changed with the way authors go about getting reviews. And for someone like me who requires reviews to be honest, it's disheartening with the policies I've read. My thoughts are drifting toward starting a group for those who will review my books, who have the ability to post reviews on Amazon, and will actually post them. I just haven't figured out how to have a "sure thing" and make it easy. Once I figure it out, I'll let everyone know which way I'm going.
I can't believe it's almost August. Up here in the mountains, it's the last full month of summer. It gets busy squeezing in the "fun" while keeping the word count up and the edits on schedule. But busy means I'm living life right, and it's a good-good feeling.

It's LIVE!_____________________________
With a past full of sadness, Elling Halvorsen holds onto his Norwegian heritage with a fierceness nobody can steal.
At any sign of a threat toward Slag Motorcycle Club, Elling is the first to protect the club. He never expected his job tailing the Federal agent to lead him straight to the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. The tattoo on her body, marking her as belonging to Brikken Motorcycle Club, warns him to stay away but fails to stop his attraction. As he falls hard for Jacqueline, he's afraid his past will repeat, and he'll lose another person he loves.
Jackie Stanton is the daughter of Slag's enemy.
From the moment she steps out of the hotel and helps the sexy biker with his motorcycle problem, Jackie's confident she can handle the situation. Chief's lessons over the years have prepared her for every possible outcome if confronted by another club.
But nothing can protect her from heartbreak.
Not her father. Not Rollo's blood in her veins. Not her older brothers.
Motorcycle clubs fighting.
Family loyalty.
Pride.
For Elling and Jackie, it's a war of forbidden love.Ìý

This is a snippet of Brage & Dinah. Yes, this is THAT Jeremy. Son of Cam. President of Moroad MC.ÌýHe has a significant part in this novel. Stay on your toes and don't let down your guard because past characters from DK's motorcycle clubs will mysteriously weave into the Slag Motorcycle Club series.ÌýA little gift from me to you!
Jeremy's gaze went to Dinah. "Do you remember me?"
Her tongue stuck to the roof of her mouth. She swallowed. Flashes of faces from her past flickered through her mind. She remembered the salt and peppered long-haired man riding over to the house when she lived with Brad and Tony.
Sometimes, she would see him parked outside the Sterling Building on her way home from school. There were rumors that he ran prostitutes inside the building and she had no doubt it was true.
Her gaze lowered to his vest. The outline of a pistol in his pocket apparent to her, she hoped Brage knew Jeremy was armed.
"Yes. I remember you." Her voice barely audible over the pounding of her heart.
