We read to enter the realities of other people. We want to feel their emotions and hear their secrets. We want to know what really happened; what was under the surface. My fiction will probably involve foreign travel, spirituality, and finding yourself.

A couple of principles guide my writing. First, we all want to break out of conventional and routine life. The proper surfaces of life are often hiding truths and secrets. Most of us wish we were more free and did things that we couldn鈥檛 because they were not permitted, or we didn鈥檛 have the money, or we didn鈥檛 have the chance.

Father's memoir translated, posthumous success

This is really big for me. My father (deceased) left behind a short memoir of his experience during the invasion of Germans into Lithuania, written in English. I published it, thinking, somebody might want to read that. It was published in 2017. Now, 2021, a translation into Lithuanian is published. Now he is an author in his home country, "his people" from whom he was ripped most of his life.
