A Little About the Halflings
Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself and tell you a bit about the Halflings. They entered my life about two years ago when I was happily writing a different novel. These teenagers--with wings no less--started taking up every free moment of my time.
And they wouldn't stop.
I knew their names, descriptions, character traits... I'm not talking about three or four characters.
A dozen. At least.
It was like I KNEW these guys. It was like I'd watched their lives unfold. And I felt REALLY strongly about wanting to be the one to tell "their" story. Stories, actually. Yes, there are three books coming out soon, but there are others as well.
So, prepare to meet Mace-the solid hero, Raven-the bad boy with a soft heart, and Vine-the "kid brother" who's possibly the best fighter to ever walk the earth. I hope you enjoy their story. I've really enjoyed telling it. Hugs!

I think there have been a lot of RBMs talking to Kevin about it. At this time, they aren't sure what they're going to do. We're keeping after them, though. :D It is an awesome family to be a part of!
I can't seem to post to rbm on my phone. If you have time would you let the gang know they can comment on heather burch books on facebook to ask an editor one question. I'm going to take a few Qs and get them answered this weekend at conference.

Do you have an exact release date for Halflings yet?

I just finished the prequel and it has me really excited about the book!
I only just finished reading the e-prequel and I must say that I'm SUPER excited about reading 'Halflings' now!
I read "Halflings" and completely fell in love it!! It is one of my favorite books EVER!! I am impatiently waiting for the next one to come out!!
