Oh. My. Bookness! It feels like ages since I've been afraid to read a book because it's so good. No really. Every time I had a chance to read A Court of Thorns and Roses it pained me because I knew I wouldn't have enough time in that sitting. I'd have to stop myself! Heck I almost caved and read past midnight on that first night, when I knew I needed sleep for a big day. So painful!

The beginning was really magical, I loved the opening scene! Everything was described so vividly and I could feel myself being in the snowy dangerous forest. I also liked Feyre, our MC, who was treated so badly by her family and I felt strongly for her.
But then starts really slow part of the book: action is almost non-existent. There were promisingly creepy & dark creatures (I love that kind of creatures :D), but not enough thrilling scenes that would have moved the story forward. And I didn't r ...more
