Ok seriously? Where the hell did Pierce come from? Apparently he's from some novella but my understanding is books in a series should be able to be read independently of those. That pisses me off that I got no warning that I'm missing a huge chunk of the story. Also, Rachel's dealings with him were from years ago. He just shows up and is a potential love interest? I'm lost. So very very lost. My advice is if you haven't read the in between novellas you're going to be missing things so don't both ...more

So much going on, so many subplots and dramas...one definitely needs to read the series in order to understand all that happens and why. Very emotional in parts, very dark in others.
