M.A. Fuentes asked S.J. Kincaid:

Your one of my favorite authors (my current favorite book is The Diabolic), so I was wondering if you could help me with something. I'm trying to write a book but I only get a few chapters in and then I want to write something else. Do you have any advice? Or a way for me to come up with book ideas to hold my interest? If so, thanks!

S.J. Kincaid Hi Nemesis! First of all, thank you! I actually used to have that same dilemma when I was younger: I'd start a ton of things and stop them. The way I finally completed my first ever manuscript was by cowriting one for fun with my best friend. That way, when I was slacking, she picked up the slack, and once I (co) finished that one, I realized it was entirely possible to write others and broke through the psychological barrier that caused me to abandon stories before that.

Another alternative is to try posting your first stories somewhere like wattpad chapter by chapter so you'll have some public encouragement. Just get one written and I swear the others are easier!
