Writers block is just one of the little challenges all authors face from time to time and can really drive one round the bend.
I usually stop and switch off all electronics, forums etc and just return to normal life. I escape with a good book or movie which 9/10 times kickstart the creative juices again. I don’t stress about it too much as this is counterproductive. I find the harder I try the more clogged my brain gets.
Often, when I least expect it, my creative brain unleashes and the story moves forward.

About a comment below concerning books for Young Readers or books labeled "YA": I recently read "A Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue". I don't recall if it had any foul language, but there was much sex (and the two lead characters, both male, had a thing going....with each other.) And the violence in YA books is stupendous, like the Hunger Games trilogy, and I don't read that kind of work as an adult! Thoughts?
