Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tim Hawken My newest book, If Kisses Cured Cancer, was partly inspired when my wife was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. We went through so many raw emotions, but also a lot of oddly funny stuff you don't really hear about from the outside. It made me shift gears in my work to write a real, yet uplifting fiction novel related to the experience. After all, they say you should write what you know. Five years later, this is what came out. Oh, and my wife is doing super well. Life is full of surprises.
