Mr. Cheevers, I so enjoyed "Act of War" especially after I bought a copy for my Dad and he read it, too. Dad served with the ROK Army "White Horse Regiment" in Vietnam as a U.S. liaison officer. He told me an unbelievable story from his time in the Korean War that I just KNOW would make a great book. My question is "Will you write it?" See http://www.historynet.com/war-behind-the-wire-koje-do-prison-camp.htm/4

Jack Cheevers Thank you for writing and I'm delighted that you enjoyed "Act of War." The story you cited does indeed sound fascinating. However, I'm in the middle of writing a book about the early years of the Vietnam War, a project that will probably take me several more years to complete. Please say hello to your father for me and have a great Thanksgiving!
Cheers, Jack
