Hi Miki: Thanks for your readership. It's crazy but there are virtually no pictures of the art thief's mother or girlfriend found online. Both women were very careful about guarding their privacy, and the era in which the action takes place -- the late 90s to the early 2000s -- was a time when it was significantly easier to avoid making much of a digital footprint. During my research, I did manage to obtain a significant amount of home video clips that show Breitwieser, as well as Anne-Catherine Kleinklas (his girlfriend) and Mireille Stengel (his mother).

What an amazing story, thank you for telling it. Were there any other little details that maybe didn't make the book, but you can share? I can't get enough of this story; the scope of what Mr. Knight did is mind blowing.
