Alfair, I have read most of your books, and love your writing! Authors say they often see or hear they hear a character in their mind and that's how they know they have to write about them....is this how you develop your characters?....Which by the way I find fascinating !

Alafair Burke Hi Carol. Yes, something like that. But I also get to know them better as I write, which means going back in and finessing the entire manuscript with a focus on character. Hope that (sort of) makes sense.
