How do you feel when reading our views on your books? Let me just say that I have already read both insignia and vortex (my gosh, I actually had to put it down for a little, but it was really good!), have rated and have given my own synopsis, especially because many prospective readers were asking to compare it to Enders Game (Totally different) ;) Can't wait to read the next!

I actually take the advice of other authors and don't generally read reviews. Whether people like or hate it, if they've devoted several hours of time to reading something I've written, they're welcome to say anything they'd like about it!

So this has been sitting in the back of my mind since I finished the last book of Insignia, (Allies, even though its a prequel I feel it exists to answer some questions the reader never even realized they had until the read it.) and it has been made me wonder, when you first put the pen to paper on Karl did you intend for him to be eventually good(ish)?
