Man, this messed my life up. But since you're already a vegetarian, it might not be as shocking for you.

I've been really resistant to read it. I'm about half way through and it is not easy to read. I'm off eggs now, haven't gotten to the dairy section but I have a feeling I'll be vegan soon. It makes me mad at all the farm books there are for kids. If there aren't farms like that anymore they are just lies trying to grow another generation of ignorant eaters.
Yeah, it just made me mad at everyone. If you want to eat some chicken fingers, it shouldn't have to come at the price of such suffering. I am okay with animals dying so people can eat, but I am not okay with factory farming & all the disgusting horrors that he talks about. How did we ever let our food system get so gross & bad & why isn't anyone really talking about it or trying to change it?
